Why water quality matters for a hydrogen wellness machine, and what to use.
A PEM hydrogen machine produces hydrogen by splitting water. The cleaner the water input, the cleaner the gas output — and the longer the life of the membrane stack.
Use distilled water
Always use distilled water — or a high-purity deionised water — in the internal reservoir. Avoid tap water, mineral water and bottled spring water.
Why this matters
Minerals in untreated water deposit on the cell and reduce output over time. Distilled water is inexpensive, available worldwide, and protects the long life of the machine.
